A friend I m

Pinsart was gifted with an original and lively talent for art , he had a sharp , although fare tongue and he was an amiable and courteous gentleman .
His artistic vein was his interior refuge , where his soul cohabited with his genius and were both projected towards a search of ethical and human values, in strict complicity – at times joyous, at times, bitter, however , relentlessly honest and rigorous .
His plentiful paintings expressed his genuine sensitivity as an artist with simplicity , harmony and reality .
Hiss brush depicted figures , landscapes and places he was accustomed to .
Painting was an act of love his nner life carried out with romantic and sentimental availability , equal to the affection offered by family and the cult of friendship.

He was a just man .
He demonstrated this when speaking of the virtues and defects of our modern society .
Sometimes he was severe and indignant when judging mystifications and misdeeds carried out by irresponsible management .
He was, however , generous in acknowledging the good will of those who worked with honest intellect and with a sense of civil duty.
He understood the virtue of humbleness: “ I am a serious artists “ , he says , If I am any good , thait is for others to decide “ .

Listening to him provoked an intimate cultural satisfaction , seeing as his artistic vein prompted him to moderate the rigour of practicability with the delicacy of nobility of soul of a master spirit.
Talking together in the reserve of the miniscule art studio , crowded with the plentiful productions , gave a lift to the soul . I took advantage this more than once interrupting the tiring climb o via Marconi to willingly accept the invitation of warm- hearted hospitality .
At times I found him frowning over the significance of an even t which was uncongenial to him , but it did not tak him long to change his expression to a warm welcoming smile only a generous soul can offer .
This was the expression surgin from his kind soul , reflecting itself on formal level , where the refined and authentic gentleman shone through .

I mourn for him but I am grateful to him for his friendship .

I will miss you.
